Lately I have been getting questions about how i am doing. You can always tell when someone is sincere in the askance, and when they are just trying to make convo. These have been sincere inquiries, and my concern stems from the fact that until recently, at least that i have noticed, no one really cared. maybe its because i am paying attention now, but it just seems strange. there is nothing wrong with me, and in most cases, i am a fairly happy person. sure we all have our down days, and even in those, I know there is an upswing when its over, and usually doesn't last more than a few hours. Even with life's problems that we create for ourselves, and yes most is self-inflicted life shot wounds whether we want to admit it or not, i am fairly happy. Thank you for your concerns :).

Who Knows Where the Apple Tree Grows?
OK here it is. I am tired and really tired of looking for someone to consider dating me. I know I know. A watched pot never boils. Well I am not abou tto go to a bar to meet some strange ho and get god knows what. She could be a psycho and stalk me! oh wait, would that be a bad thing to have someone throw themselves at you? :D

Slow my brain down so that I can sleep damnit!

And yes, I too would be interested in knowing who actually reads the drivel that we sometimes put in here. Meaningful to ourselves yes. Extremely important, in our own lives, certainly! But when it comes down to it, we are born alone, and we will die alone. Everything else in between is time killed to get to the end. Oh sure! There are joys and happinesses and friends that cross our paths. The ever growing order of parenthood is boundless with love! However, when we are in the throes of death, no matter who is in the room with us, we will be clueless and only concerned with our ending.

Thank you all for making the time in between worth being around for and enjoying the world for what it is until that time comes and we all say good bye! Let's make it one helluva ride!

    Thoughts on My Youngest Daughter
I wil forever have a horror of best buy. My daughter sees the sign when she drives by one and says "daddy?" because that is where we do our trade off for picking up and dropping off. Nice simple out of the way location that is half way between us. My heart breaks.

Why this week needs to be torn from the calander and thrown in the fireplace
I have had a hard week thus far. Monday was a total nightmare after dealing with the divorce papers and changes that i requested to be made caused it to be turned down, causing frustration and anguish, wanting for it all to end, only to be forced to wait a little while longer. Then to top the evening off with a fun filled adventure in pre-teen son acting like a total ass towards every adult in his life at that point in time. Admonished him for his behavoir, told him what was expected from him, then got to the root cause of him believing no one listens to him when hes got problems, but then had to correct him because he goes to no one who can help him, truly.

Tuesday was a total wash because work sucked, tried to go walking with someone i had started to develope feelings for, only to be called "one of the sweetest guys" she knows, but no click. i can deal with that. something may develope over time when she realizes ill be more than she ever hoped for :D.

Last night I find out htat some California based law (Thanks a whole fucking lot left coast) which is where my company is home stationed out of, has a stupid law that states you cant keep a contractor for more than a year and you have to either find a new agency, hire him, or let him go. Now please for the love of God, tell me how that is a productive law? tell me how recycling people for no more than a yr is beneficial to the "low guy trying to be protected" by this ridiculous law! I challenge ANYone to see the good in getting rid of a productive worker simply because he is a contractor of more than a yr. IT is FILLED to the BRIM with long term contractors. Where is the stability?

    mother nature
Mother Nature watches over you. You're wise and
observant. You have a keen sense of people and
are a dedicated worker. Your emotions can run
wild and you may at times be controlling.
Mother Nature is always there to protect you,
though. Like a mother, Mother Nature is always
holding your hand and will guide you through
life. She will help you through life's
obstacles. You may find yourself feeling
unusually comfortable in the presence of
    nature.

    OK this is it.
My first blog will be.....about....not flipflops....

even though they carry us comfortably around the sands of the world, protect our precious feet from the broken glass of the world and are only too happy to sacrifice their tread for our pleasure...nay...not flipflops.
